Privately owned by Dr. Amera Qureshi, Inspire Dental was founded with a mission to provide compassionate, patient-centered care rooted in strong relationships and clinical excellence.
Our treatment philosophy focuses on education and prevention, and involves tailoring treatment options to the needs and desires of each individual.
Dr. Qureshi obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. As part of her life-long commitment to education and learning, she has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education to allow her to treat her patients comprehensively.

At Inspire Dental
Your visit will start with an initial assessment based on your main concerns. Most visits involve a routine set of x-rays to evaluate your oral health and to check for underlying dental issues. Our hygienist will then evaluate your teeth and gums, and discuss your oral health. Next, you will receive a tailored professional cleaning, giving each individual tooth proper care and attention. Our goal is to leave you with a happier, healthier smile and a better experience than you have ever had before.
WHY IS A ROUTINE CLEANING IMPORTANT?
Everyday habits such as eating and drinking cause plaque buildup throughout the day. Plaque is a sticky, colorless, or pale-yellow film that forms on and in between your teeth. Without proper treatment, plaque turns into tartar, which can only be removed by dental professionals. Tartar attacks tooth enamel and can cause cavities and gum disease. At Inspire Dental we are committed to preventing these oral health issues before they begin with regular teeth cleanings and oral examinations.
WILL IT HURT?
Slight sensitivity is typically normal, however pain during routine dental cleanings is not normal and generally is an indicator that there may be underlying inflammation or bone loss. We offer light sedation or anesthesia to keep your visit with us as comfortable as possible.
WHEN IS IT TIME FOR A DENTAL CLEANING?
Experts recommend a routine cleaning and examination no less than twice a year. However, there are more ways to determine if you’re due for a visit. Is flossing painful? Do you notice bleeding from your gums? Do you frequently notice odors or unpleasant tastes in your mouth? These symptoms might mean it’s time for a teeth cleaning.
